Therapy does not have to feel cold or impersonal. Meaningful change can emerge through insight, connection, honesty, reflection, difficult conversations, shared laughter, and moments of feeling truly seen and understood.

Start Therapy in Three Steps
1. Schedule
Book a free consultation or first appointment. 2. Complete Forms
Fill out secure intake paperwork through the client portal before your session. 3. Start Therapy
Meet with your therapist to begin exploring goals, challenges, and practical steps toward change.
Your intake session is a starting point. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what feels difficult right now, and what you’d like to work toward.
We may explore:
Current stressors, symptoms, or emotional patterns
Relationships and life transitions
Personal history that helps guide treatment
Discuss past and current diagnoses as needed
Establish some goals for treatment planning collaboratively
You are always in control of what you share. A brief background is often enough to begin. We move at a pace that feels manageable.
We’ll also begin identifying goals and direction for therapy. A diagnosis may be discussed, but it is not a fixed label and can evolve over time. It is only required when working with insurance.
What Happens After the Intake?
Follow-up sessions focus on building traction.
Over time, we work on:
Recognizing stress and change patterns
Strengthening coping skills
Responding differently to triggers
Aligning decisions with long-term growth
Building self awareness, emotional regulation, and confidence
Review and adjust goals and approach to treatment routinely or as needed
Therapy is not just about insight — it’s about integration.
